Elena Maria Nisi

Elena was born in Toronto (CANADA), graduated from York University with a B.A. (Hons) and a certificate in teaching from the University of Toronto.  She taught in a Toronto primary school for 2 years and then changed careers, working in the travel industry.  Elena then returned to teaching and moved to Europe, where she taught at the Udine International School.  She remained there for 7 years, teaching in various classes.  She also created an after-school dance club for students where Elena taught both classical ballet and jazz.  She then relocated to the Venice area and began teaching at the International School of Venice in 2011.  Elena is passionate about teaching and watching her students grow and develop. She cherishes the relationships created with her students.

In her free time, Elena enjoys traveling, reading, and learning new and interesting things to share with her classes! After three years back in Canada and a new degree in Primary Education, Miss Elena has returned for September 2025 to be part of the ISV team again!
