February challenges us to free ourselves from single-use plastic. Bottles, bags, and straws may seem small, but they pollute rivers and seas for centuries. This month, the school will encourage students to reduce their use of plastic and adopt sustainable alternatives, including refillable water bottles, glass containers, and cloth bags. Creative campaigns will also involve families, spreading the message beyond the classroom. Being “Plastic Free” does not mean making life harder—it means making smarter choices that protect the planet. Every piece of plastic avoided is one step away from pollution and one step closer to a cleaner future.
