Kate was born in Sydney (Australia), graduated from Curtin University (Perth, Australia) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and continued her studies at The University of New England (Armidale, Australia), graduating with a Graduate Diploma in Education (postgraduate degree).
She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at The University of New England (Armidale, Australia), with a strong focus on Emotional Intelligence research and development in schools.
Kate has previously worked in Primary, Middle and High schools in Australia, specializing in elementary, visual arts and yoga. She has always had a desire to travel, and in 2017 she accepted an elementary teaching role at a bilingual International school, and then moved to Italy with her 2 children.
Kate loves spending her free time outdoors observing, drawing and photographing nature, she is a keen mountain hiker, and adores living close to the Dolomite region of Italy.
