For the occasion of the International Carnival of Venice, we would like to inform you that primary 4 and 5 and middle school students will walk to the Civic Centre and Theatre of the Albanese Park in Mestre, to take part in an educational workshop offered by Biennale Education.
THE BIOPHONIC PARK: A MULTISPECIES ENSEMBLE is a musical workshop. The children will discover that plants and animals are not passive objects, but rather respond to the environment: the sounds that plants disperse into the air when they are stressed have recently been recorded! Access to plant ‘language’ can help us understand how plants react to climate change. Plant, synthesizer, and small/young musicians will be the protagonists of this multispecies ensemble. Enjoy!
