Thea Posluszny

Thea Posluszny grew up in New Jersey (USA), and graduated from the University of Maryland, with a degree in Early Childhood Education (Hons).

Thea’s love of travelling was fostered by the fantastic world-travels taken with her family throughout her youth, and after graduating and working as a first-grade teacher for a year, she knew that she needed to try living abroad.

The idea was to stay in Italy for a year or two (in 2005), but she now
lives in Venice with her husband and two bi-lingual children.

Thea is a firm believer that learning should be fun and interactive, and incorporates as many educational games as possible into the classroom, engaging the children to expand their thinking beyond the pen and paper.
